If you’ve been searching for a 30A family photographer, you’ve probably seen the phrase full-service photography. It sounds appealing, but if you’ve never experienced it before, it can feel unclear.
For many families, photography has looked like this: you show up hoping everyone cooperates, receive an online gallery, and then you’re left to figure out downloads, prints, sizes, colors, albums, and what actually looks good in your home.
Full-service photography is different.
It’s designed to remove the stress, guesswork, and decision fatigue so the experience feels calm, intentional, and genuinely enjoyable.
Whether you’re visiting 30A with your family, celebrating a milestone, welcoming a newborn, planning senior portraits, documenting maternity, or capturing your love as a couple, the goal is always the same. You get to be present. I take care of the rest.
Here’s what that looks like.
Before anything is booked, we start with a quick call. This isn’t a sales call. It’s a chance to talk through what you’re hoping for and make sure we’re a good fit.
We’ll chat about:
You don’t need to have a clear vision or know what to ask. That’s what this conversation is for.
Once you’re booked, the next step is a design consult. This is where full-service photography starts to feel very different from the “show up and hope for the best” approach.
Together, we plan:
You also have the option to:
We’ll talk through personalities, too. What motivates your kids. What helps adults stay engaged. What matters most to you. This keeps the session focused and efficient, without wasting time on things that aren’t the goal.
By the time session day arrives, nothing feels like a question mark.
The best images are captured when everyone is focused on each other, not the camera.
My role as your 30A family photographer is to create an environment where you can be together and almost forget I’m there. I’ll guide you into natural positions, then build in movement and gentle play so things feel relaxed and real.
The session flows between light direction and guided interaction. You’ll get images that feel natural, connected, and true to who you are.
Most clients leave surprised by how smooth the experience feels. Humble brag, but I’ve heard more than one dad say, “That was actually kind of fun.”
Within two weeks of your session, we’ll schedule a gallery review. This is one of the biggest differences between full-service photography and a traditional online gallery.
Instead of receiving a link and being left to figure everything out on your own, we sit down together and look through your images.
During the gallery review, we’ll:
This is where your photos stop being files and start becoming part of your life. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is finalized until it feels right. You never have to guess about printing, sizing, or color.
Full-service photography isn’t about adding steps. It’s about removing stress.
You walk away with:
You show up. I take care of the rest.
Full-service photography is a great fit if:
If that sounds like you, the next step is simply a conversation. No pressure. Just a chance to talk through what you’re hoping for and see if this feels like the right fit.
What does full-service photography mean?
It means you’re guided through the entire experience, from planning to choosing how your images are used afterward. Nothing is left for you to figure out on your own.
Is this different from an online gallery?
Yes. Instead of receiving a large gallery and deciding everything alone, we meet for a guided gallery review where I help you choose and design what makes sense for you.
Do I have to know what I want ahead of time?
Not at all. Most clients don’t. We talk through everything step by step.
Will you help with outfits and location?
Yes. Planning is part of the experience. You can also meet with my in-house stylist and add professional hair and makeup if you’d like.
What if my kids don’t cooperate or my partner isn’t excited?
That’s very common. Sessions are guided in a way that keeps things relaxed and flowing naturally.
When will we see our images?
Within two weeks of your session, we’ll schedule a gallery review to go through your images together.
What if I just want digital images?
That’s completely okay. I offer collections with digital images only, as well as options that include albums and artwork.
How much does full-service photography cost?
Collections range from $1,100 to $3,900. Most clients invest around $2,500 once they’ve seen their full gallery and decided how they’d like to enjoy their images.
Is full-service photography right for everyone?
It’s a great fit if you value guidance, ease, and images that live beyond your screen.
